History
Started in the 1960s as a Home Bible Study Group under the guidance and assistance of Rev. Moses Yu, Chinese Christian Fellowship held its first worship service in 1964 in the hall rented from Masonic Temple. In 1974, it formally changed its name to Mountain View Chinese Christian Church, and on December 8, 1996, MVCCC moved into its current facility. In 2006 after a two-thirds approval of the Board and Elders and a two-thirds approval of the membership meeting,
Bay Area Chinese Christian Church was accepted as our branch church, in accordance with church's constitution.
Sunday worship services are conducted in Chinese and English and the regular attendance is over 300 people. Content-rich and dynamic Children and Adult Sunday Schools are provided each Sunday. Bible Study Groups and Fellowships meet throughout the week for different age groups to meet different needs. On the first and third Sundays, a late night evangelistic worship service is also conducted.
MVCCC is an independent, evangelical, non-denominational, overseas mission oriented Chinese American Church and obeys the teaching of our Lord Jesus Christ to love one another and to preach the gospel to all nations.
